Former member of the Manhattan Sailing Club, but absent from the scene for the last several years. Looking to get back into it, I was a weekly J24 racer, Block Island, some J105 exp. I am short but strong!

Re: Female Crew Available: NY/NJ/CT

Interested in a long trip?

I'm buying a 28 ft sailboat from my aunt who has it in Chesapeake Bay. I'll be sailing it around FL to Corpus Christie, TX at which point I'm renting an F350 and a trailer to drive it to Long Beach, CA. You'd be welcome to join me for all or part of the journey, looking for a hand to keep her sailing 24/7 and have the shortest possible trip.

Slo, if you've got any engine, it may pay to use the Okeechobee Canal, could cut a week off your time rounding Florida. You'll need to check ahead to make sure all the locks are open when you plan to go, but with that size you'll have no problem fitting.
