Looking to crew- Clear Lake/Galveston area

I am an employed professional (non-marine) looking for weekend crew positions. I do not have a lot of sailboat experience, but I crewed on a 90'' charter motor yacht in the Caribbean for a year and captained 40''-50'' dive boats for another couple of years. I do not get seasick, I have good marlinspike seamanship skills, and am intimately familiar with marine mechanical and electrical systems. I am also an FAA certificated pilot with well-developed navigational skills. I am shopping for a 35''-40'' yacht and would like to get more sailboat exposure in order to make an informed choice before I buy.

Thanks!
