Well traveled sea captain, age 64, sailing from Lake Erie to Israel. Looking for honest, hardworking companion, preferably female, to help in getting boat ready and sailing to the Promised Land.
Wow, two of my dreams in one post. I have sailed most of my life and have a 31' Hughes. I sail in Lake Nipissing Ontario. My second dream is to go to Israel. I would love to chat with you. Please contact me.
Because of site restrictions of new members i can't private message you and also not allowed to post email either so....sclancy at eastlink dot ca.....if you can decipher that. lol
I have been to the Promised Land often. Make sure you know the procedures for entering Israeli waters. You need to notify Israel two weeks prior to arriving in Israel. You also need to contact Israel prior ro entering the 12 mile limit. Israeli Navy will probably contact you on SSB/VHF and keep you outside the 12 mile limit until dawn.
Captain Lenny,
This sounds perfect. I am 26, and looking for adventure. I have always wanted to go to Israel, and I am looking to get myself on to a boat with someone who knows what they are doing. email me if I can PLEASE help and do anything to get myself aboard your boat. I am currently in Philadelphia.
