Cali to Hawaii crew wanted

Sailed from Seattle currently in central California headed for s Cali then turning toward Hawaii beginning of November.
Boat: Solid and proven (30ft seas, fortyfive sustained) older sailboat.
Us: 32 and 33 yrs old setting out on the dream sail we talked about since we were in college. Really easygoing guys, we have fun out there crank the music, have a beer, fish all the way, enjoy being hundreds of miles of shore just us and the whales.
You: no medical issues, valid passport, personal locater beacon, money to pitch in on food and diesel, able to do routine four hour shifts at helm, easy going and adaptable to situations.

Re: Cali to Hawaii crew wanted

Hi. In you're style of information dissemination...

Me: 32, from California, but living in New York for the last 4 years, moving to Hawaii. 2 years experience as crew on Sloop Clearwater, including relief engineer. I'm willing to pitch in for beer, food, and diesel. I love fishing and I'm a great in the galley. I don't have much in the way of baggage, besides my foulies and surfboards. I will be heading back to CA in November. Let me know if you want to meet.

Re: Cali to Hawaii crew wanted

What a great opportunity .... might be a little early for my "pulling the plug" and sailing plans.

I was wondering if you had a blog or any feedback on the sail from Seattle? I am planning the same run with my family in the near future. I do plan to sail as a crew to Hawaii first to increase my experience level before assuming the role as Captain.

all the best on your journey

Walker
