Couple available to crew on East Coast

My wife and I are now traveling down the east coast, currently in Norfolk. Anyone looking to move a boat south, we would love to help crew. We don't have any commitments on our time and can pay our own way. We are just wandering, so we can wander back north if someone north of us is interested.

Both of us are fit and active and not yet 40, with ASA 101, 103, 104 certificates and some live aboard experience, but still quite novice.

Cell phone or email are the best way to reach us:

Re: Couple available to crew on East Coast

In response to a call I received, I will post additional information.

We are not homeless bums wandering around looking for a place to live. We retired in May and are traveling the US seeing the country. We still have a home, we just have no interest in living in it when there is so much to see elsewhere. We are scuba divemasters, skydiving instructors, pilots, and rock climbers.

Again, we are pretty free to travel where we like, so if anyone is looking for crew, even just for a few days, we would be happy to join up and gain some experience.

Thanks again!

Hi,

I am looking for crew from Norfolk to Savannah. We will be in Norfolk Friday 10/25/12. Have to be in Savannah by 11/3. I have a CSY 44 Walkthru. We are retired, pleasant company and have many years sailing experience both coastal and offshore. My cell is 978 828 6123

Michael-

We never got an email address when we spoke and I know you may be busy for the next few days. I hope the boat made it safely through the storm.

It looks like we have an early December opportunity in Florida, but even though Sandy interfered with our first plans, we can still easily catch a train north to meet you folks for the trip south if you will still be moving to boat south in the next week or so. You can still contact me on the same number.

Sorry that I can't just PM, but site limitations still don't permit me that option and I did not want to call in case you are still busy.
