Re: Sail Georgian Bay Anyone?

I found a great way to gain experience. Join a yacht club and ask the members to come out and crew for you on the race nights. (That's what I did. Hadn't sailed in 25 ish years and when I last sailed it was for the ladies and didn't pay any attention to the boat.)
Joined a local yacht club and asked the members if they would like to crew and got some to come out.
Here are the #'s of my first year racing/sailing. 17 races, 8 wins, 3 2nd last and the rest were in 2nd or 3rd!
I have learnt tons of stuff from different crew members. I'm looking forward to this years races. (I'm going to take all the "stuff" out of the boat so it's not as heavy this year. As well as a few improvements like a main sail traveler, new clutches and new lines....)
