crew available

I will be in Arizona on holiday from India, between 4th to 22nd Aug 2013, and in Hawaii for a week off between these dates. I have sailed round the world in a 36 footer with a leg amputated above the knee - that was a long while ago. . I reckon once a sailor always a sailor - I would like to offer myself as crew or boat care taker during this period, so I can be afloat and sailing. San Diego ? or the West Coast ?

Hiya, I am sailing from Washington State to San Fransisco hopefully in the end of July and am looking for a crew. Though if I can't find anyone by then I could leave later (I can't spend another winter in the PNW). SailNet Community - View Profile: wolfenzee

Hello Wolfenzee,
I'm interested to know about your travel plans. I might be able to sail with you if the timing works out. I'm in San Francisco myself and planning/dreaming to sail South along the coast, but will not be able to do it this summer by myself. SO I'm open to do it with someone else.

I can't p.m. you because I'm still new to the forum.

I'm 34y.o. no health issues, some experience but not too much. Got first (21') sailboat last summer, than upgraded to a 23' about 6 month back... have been out a total of may be 20+/- times in San Francisco Bay and Monterey, came back dry and alive... mentally ready for a longer trip :)

Couple questions that I have:
When do you plan to leave and how flexible is that date?
How long do you think it will take for the whole trip?
Where do you plan to stop?
How many people do you plan/will have on board?
Are you paying for anything (food/transportation?) or expect any financial contribution from your crew (me)?
What kind of boat/equipment are we sailing in?

Thank you!

Alex

Alex-
This is the first leg of my cruise, WA to SF, I will hang out in SF for a couple months while fine tuning the boat and looking for a long term/long distance crew (panama and beyond).
[1] I would like to sail down to SF sometime this summer, I am shooting for the end of July , though if I can get a bit more help I can leave earlier.
[2] I plan to stop at Neah Bay, top NW corner of the Olympic Peninsula, then again in SF.
[3]Total of 2 people on board
[4]I'll pay for rail ticket to Seattle and transport here, food etc.
[5] SailNet Community - wolfenzee's Album: S/V Waltzing Matilda boat is a proven ocean cruiser, equipment...well equipped in good condition (we can go over details).
