Pay Scales for Deckhand Work - Med

I am looking at securing some paid deckhand work in the Med for the 05 Summer and I want some advice on pay rates. I will have a RYA Competent Crew Cert and about 1000 miles experience.

I know that pay scales vary but what would be a average monthly salary for deckhand work in US dollars or Euro''s

In 1987 I worked in the Med (Malta to Greece) on a 100 ft. sailboat as a cook and got $1500US a month. Hope that helps.
