Seeking SoCal Partner - I''''ll Help With Your Boat $$/Chores

I''m a knowledgeable life-long sailor who just sold his boat. I''m already DYING to have another, but thought perhaps I could find a partner. If you have a cruising boat (I don''t race) and you''re located in Southern California (I''m in Long Beach), I''d be very interested to meet and discuss any kind of partnership opportunity. I''d be willing to pitch in money, time and knowledge. As a former boat owner, I know the "work list" is always longer than the "play list" and I''m willing to do my fair share. I''m pretty good with a diesel, know my way around rigging/systems and I''m a great guide to all the nearby islands! Also scuba dive, rock climb, mountaineer, kayak, etc.

Are you aware that you are responding to a post that is over three years old, and likely no longer valid. If he hasn't found a partner by now, chances are good that he owns another boat by now. Please check dates on posts before responding to them.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
