All I can mention is what I needed for a diving instructor job in the Cayman Islands.
You get a 90 day temporary permit. Its low cost and easy to obtain, then before it expires your employer must buy a 1 year permit, it requires a physical and costs about 1k dollars. By Cayman law the business is supposed to pay for it but....they often try to get the employee to front the cash. It takes a while to get this approved.
