Hi I''m 53 yr. young and retired early so I could spend winters in the USVI. I spend summers on my island in N. Michigan, spring and fall in Ann Arbor. I just spent 2 months sailing Lake Mi to Chicago and then down the rivers to KY, on a 1968, 29'' Bristol. The Capt. is a very frugal women I met through this site.
I spent 2 mo. in St. Thomas last winter, and several weeks each over the last few years. I''m adding more months each year. I may buy a rental place there some year.
I can fix just about anything and can cook aboard ok.
I like to spend the Holidays with my kids, so I''m not sure I''m ready to leave Nov. more like Dec. 27 or so, but I thought we''d talk, I''m flexable. What''s your plans once you reach the USVI?
