Spain, Canaries to Caribe

I have a well equipped catamaran (all prescribed safety equipment) presently in Mallorca. Plan to leave there and take a leisure cruise to the Gran Canaries. From Canaries then on to the Caribe for the winter. Would like to leave the first week of November. Can possible join at Mallorca, Gibraltar or Las Palmas. Hello! I''m a recent graduate of UCBerkeley trying to get to Europe from the U.S. I don''t mind a little tropical detour on the way. I''m a former Sea Scout Crew Leader, though admittedly the job had more to do with organizing kids than sailing. But I''m willing to learn more, and I''m a natural water person (surfer) with oceanic intution. I''m male and excited about any sort of adventure.
