There are some female captains as well as instructors down in the BVI and, depending upon which charter company you are getting your cat from, they can also look into their pool of available people. If you want an instructor you may try the Rob Swain Sailing School who have female instructors. Anegada is not that tough, many charter companies who limit travel there stipulate that all you need is to "have been there before" and some even offer flotillas. It is certainly worth the trip for the scenery (above and below the water) as well as the food.
