Pacific Northwest Crew Needed

Looking for one crew memeber to sail the Pacific Norhtwest. I have been sailing for a year here in the PNW. Will start living onborad this summer in Bellingham WA. I am in my 40''s, just purchased ORIANA, a Freya 39, (see pictures at my personal Page) that is a great offshore cruiser. She is loaded with eveything needed for extended cruising. Would like to meet and sail with somebody here locally and then do some offshore cruising to Hawaii and back. Have classes with Hasse Sails, in Port Townsend, on repair of sails and a navigation class with STARPATH, in Seattle. I have some experince with navigation, communications, First Aid, but lack true sailing experince. Only have read "Heavy Weather Sailing" and "Weather Simiplied", but have not experinced it. Looking for a sincere perseon who has same dream of world curising. Lets get together and we can both follow our drems.... Fair Winds...

Offshore

Greetings,
I'm interested in getting to the North Pacific Gyre where all that trash is floating about and would prefer not to go alone in my 30' sloop. My experience level seems somewhat close to yours in that I've not been offshore, only in the inland waters of Washington and BC. I feel confident enough to go out solo, and again, would prefer not to. Timing is an issue as I have a window now, and then several months from now (july/augustish). The trip all the way to Hawaii and back would be too long for me in this window, but a possibility later this year. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Tyler
