Arrow Eager to crew - Massachusetts

Hi there,

I am looking for opportunities to crew on evening and weekend sails. I am very energetic, good listener, and very safety conscious. I am in Massachusetts and don't mind driving around the state!

My experience is primarily with dinghy sailing and other boats up to 23'. I have crewed on a 29' as well. I have solid knowledge of terminology and have a good understanding of boat handling and characteristics. Have some minimal race experience. I really enjoy any time out on the water whether it's just cruising or racing!

Please PM me if you have an opportunity, I look forward to hearing from you!

Update for 2008: getting ready to go! See my general profile above, I finished up 2007 with a lot of racing and more time on the water. I am ready to get going again.

I will do anything from racing, to general cruising. Would also love to help anyone needing crew to move boats (day/weekend sails) from wherever it's been all winter to where it will live over the summer. Any time on the water is good time.

PM, email me or post here.

Thanks!

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

No sir, but I would love to! I've never been on a cat either for that matter! Keep me posted if you've got any crew opportunities

How about trying a Shields out of Marion, MA?

We race a Shields (30' see shieldsclass.com for details) and are looking for crew for Saturdays and a few regattas. Need someone knowledgeable and who doesn't mind getting a little wet BUT mostly someone who is reliable. I don't have enough posts (you need 10) to do PM but give me an email at rjearobbins at comcast.net
