The Cruising Rally Association (Caribbean 1500, Atlantic Cup, etc) maintains a volunteer crew list for its Rallys at www.carib1500.com. The next rally begins 3 November to Tortolla from Hampton, Virginia. These are mostly non-paid positions on boats averaging close to 50 ft. There is a form on the web site to fill out with your information.

Emily, I saw in your profile that you work for Starbucks-there are several (thousand) Starbucks in Seattle looking for experienced help, and thousands of sailboats as well. If you are looking to take off across the oceans you might consider moving to one coast or another (West is Best IMHO). Check out the magazine "Latitude 38" for San Francisco
(http://www.latitude38.com/LectronicL...tronicLat.html and "48 Degrees North" http://www.48north.com/ for Seattle. Both have crew lists and local racing info. Good luck on your dream, make it happen.
