Space available for cruise from Boston to Provincetown

We are sailing our Catalina 27 from Boston to Provincetown for Labor day weekend, and have a berth open for one more person (it's myself and my GF now). We are in our early 30's, professional, fun, and responsible. Please reply ASAP, as we would need to decide by Wednesday.
Thanks!

SanderO is an unknown quantity at this point
This is a curious post. Are you in need of crew? Or are you looking to make some new friends? Or both?

We own a 36' sailboat and sail alone 99% of the time and have found that even having close friends at times for many hours reveals things about them we don't find compelling.... and they may feel the same about us.

I have found in sailing offshore passages with larger crews of up to 6 that living in close quarters for long times reveals things about people you simple don't want to know. I know this sounds "anti social" but these are my findings. You want to know someone... go to sea for several days with them and you see it all.

Having said that... we now enjoy the privacy and the time alone without the "burden" of socializing with friends and strangers... having to put on a happy face and so forth. Our boat is a place for complete relaxation. Plus... we don't want to run a cruise ship and don't want to both take the time to explain the whole boat and worry about others who can get hurt or screw something up.

I wonder if others have made similar observations and come to similar conclusions?

On the other hand, I love to chat up other sailors and even have them spend bits of time aboard so I am not a complete recluse.

Once in the Carib when I was singlehanding I met a couple of German girls on holiday in St Maarten who wanted to find a boat to sail on. I offered mine and it was an interesting experience... language barrier notwithstanding. It fit more into my lifestyle at the time. I can't see doing this now.

We change.
