Tartan34C will become famous soon enough
Drop me an e-mail if you are still looking for crew I am interested in a ride. I am somewhat experienced and could stand a watch. I have all my own gear.
All the best,
Robert Gainer

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Well, I found what I thought was a decent crew. Long story short, 2 days later (and after some financial and emotional damage) I was on the way home and had to involve police to get rid of the guy.

I know most people trying to sail are not like that, but at this point I think I'll take my chances on my own, or perhaps take family with me. Either way all of you out there - be careful who you get, you can't always tell right away.

Nope, not good. In fact, after some consideration we decided to cancel the trip - it is too cold where the boat is now, and too late in the season. May be next year.

Brak, I am sorry to hear that. It is just too bad that one bad apple ruins the rest of sailor wanting to crew.. I hope you will open your arms again in the future after checking for references. All the best.
