Crew looking for an offshore passage, delivery, or race

UPDATE 2/21/08: Sorry I am not available anymore. Found a skipper and boat for an offshore trip in April 2008. Thank you for your consideration.
Bodo

In order to gain some offshore sailing experience I am looking to crew on a passage, delivery, or for a race participation from the US East Coast to Bermuda, BVI, etc. or reverse in 2008. I have two weeks available with an additional week reserve for unscheduled circumstances. I am willing to provide my own transportation to and from the ports and to share in the provisioning.

Sailing experience of almost 30 years include sailing on the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean, Lake Michigan, and the coastal waters of New England including night sail and navigation. Since 2004 I own an Island Packet 31 and sail it on the Chesapeake Bay.

Additional details and sailing resume are available upon request.

Please contact me by email at: bodo dot wolters at fmglobal dot com
or 610-407-3459

Please let me know if you would be interested in a Fort Lauderdale to St Lucia trip, 2/10-2/25 or so...no stops, just depends on weather.

I'm a 100-ton captain with plenty of experience on this route. boat is a solid offshore 46'-er.

You can send a resume to me at jim0123r [at] gmail [dot[ com

Thank you -
Jim
