Yes he is coming back from Europe on the 5-th and we will take it from that.
RockD ... I think that it would be more convinient if we contact about provisioning be our e-mails. it will be plenty to write about.
As far as the engine - not this year but next year we will install jumbo jet engine - just to make this old boat sail faster then 9 knoths. Oh, dont forget we will also install computerized keel drop off just before boat starts diving ... LOL
and thanks for the offering slave labor! I love this kind of attitiude as my assets and capital improvments dramaticlly go up for free!!!!

Now, not joking I am looking to ship my liferaft from England. Maybe someone know any vessel sailing back to USA or know any shipping agancy that would do this for me. As of now it seems to be extremly big problem to ship from the UK to the USA. I am trying to do this for two weeks and I am very unsuccesfull in this matter.
Any help would realy help. Thanks

Shipping Life Raft to NYC

Kris, you can try

https://www.freightquote.com/Default.aspx

or
https://www.transglobalexpress.co.uk....asp?Region=16

I assume the life raft is 80x50x30 cm about 80 kg. They quote me to NYC is 189 British #, but if someone in UK is dropping it off at the deck, you will save 43 BP.

It will take 10 days to get to U.S. Hope this helps.

RD

Ahh Capkris

AFOC comes from the old GREEK treminology and that stands for.

Another
Flamboyant
Off-shore
Cruiser

Its an old symbol of status given to old time experienced sailors that sailed the world

Being an AFOC here is a previlege not many can be proud of being..no many qualify

Therefore, I am gladly giving you the honour of naming you SAILNET's BIGGEST AFOC!!!!! you really are a great ambassador of AFOCism...thank you...you really are

Congratulations!!

WOW...this is really honor although I do not deserve such an honor as I am not one of those sitting at sea for years at the time ... I don’t know what to say because there are greater sailors and AFOCs then myself, however I will not give it back as I am in the needs of some greatness considering some comments … LOL
Thanks and yes, I do clip my fingernails and I do shave during the storms...
Thanks for the explanation - I learned something :-)
