A Bermuda Spring '08 rally is being organized by one of the members of the Island Packet Owner's Group. So far after only one week after the announcement (1) IP-32, (3) IP 35's, (1) IP 37, (2) IP 380's and (2) IP 420's or nine boats total have signed on.
As the organizer I am trying to locate experienced Bermuda crew to accompany some of the inexperiened owners. The crew needed are for all size boats mentioned above except my IP32.
This is a fun and not a paid position, you will be expected to travel both legs, the owner will provide all meals, beverage and snacks. Boats will be shoving off from two locations, NY Harbor and Norfolk Harbor.
USCG licenses are not required but will be considered a plus.
Offshore experience in small monohull sailboats is the only absolute requirement though sailing references will also be required and verified. Preference will be given to any sailor whose resume has been provided and accepted by any of the 'known' offshore insurance underwriters whether as crew or captain.

The go, no go date for the owner's group is January 31, so I need crew slots filled well before that so that the owners needing crew can make their final commitment to the rally.
