Chesapeake Bay Delivery Help for 1997 35 foot Sloop

I'm looking for help delivering a 1997 Caliber 35LRC from Williamsburg, VA to Herrington Harbor (about 110 miles - 2 to 3 days). I will cover all costs and will pay reasonable amount for experienced crew. Boat has onboard Origo heat. Timeframe is next week, weather dependant. Reply to jimsmail101 at email dot com.

chesapeake

i would be happy to help on your delivery, however, i am in key west and would need to get a ticket from here to there plus per diem and it would probably not be worth the cost. i am a 100 ton captain and have lived on and off my sailboat for 20 years. if you are interested, let me know. john

SailorMitch will become famous soon enough
As a W&M grad I'd love to help, but I can't clear my schedule that fast. Keep me posted via PM if the schedule slips. Can I assume the boat is on the York River? Just curious on the exact starting point.

I'd like to help, however it would have to be over a weekend as I can't currently take off that much time from work. Let me know and I can take off a monday and/or friday.

Limited experience, but easy going and love to sail. Basically would sail for food and a little gas money.

I'd be happy to help if you would cover transportation from Arlington down to WMburg, and HH back to Arlington. Steve

Thanks for all the replies-the delivery is done

Thank you all for your replies. I found a local sailor who helped with the delivery. He and I have a similar background and experience and he is local to the area. Between him and me and my two friends (who don't sail, but do cook and tell jokes!), we had a great 19 hour delivery with the bay nearly to ourselves. This message board is great!
