Always looking for crew who need more experience...especially offshore

Hi -

I'm a 100-ton captain, delivering boats at this moment in my 15-year-long yachting career...mostly along the Eastern seaboard of the U.S. and to and from the Caribbean, right now...but anything is possible (I have some proposals in for the Pacific). Because of the competitive nature of the delivery business - and because I have a wealth of information to pass along to newcomers looking to gain confidence, I am always looking for persons who would like to come aboard as (non-paid, non-paying) crewmembers on deliveries. Food is included but transportation to and from the boats is usually not.

I am easy-going but expect safety, responsibility, and cooperation at all times. No drugs, no drinking while underway.

If interested, please send a resume or description of your experience to me at jim0123r [at] gmail [dot] com.

Thank you very much.

Fair winds to all....

Jim,

I think people would be more likely to respond if they knew about where you were located. It would help me anyway.....

Crew

I've been sailing on Lake Lanier, Georgia, since about 2004; with some lessons and rentals at Lake Lanier and Hilton Head 20 years ago. Started in 2004 with 22' Hunter, went to 27' O'Day and now a Lancer 30 MK V. Last year I flew to Nassau and crewed on a boat (Cat) from Nassau to Norfolk. Just returned from Picking up same boat in Charleston and went to West Palm Beach.
Let me know if there is an interest.
Thanks,
George Haynie

Have you checked out the local Sea Scouts? Am pretty sure that they would enjoy a day out on a sail boat.

remark

To whom were you addressing that catty remark? Whileyour name doesn't lend itself to the feminine gender, your remark does! Both perhaps?
Regards,
George
