Paid Crew Jobs
UNOLS is a site you can check out that is for educational reasearch vessels needing paid crew. You have to get your Z Card or MMC Doc from the Coast Guard. The cost for the doc. is about $140.00 paid to the Coast Guard.
But it gives you a leg up because it means you have been checked out by the Coast Guard.
