You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

It's in the mail. (Should arrive at the same time as all the others!)

travelisaverb is on a distinguished road
Hello. What beautiful day for sailing.

I recently completed a crewing course with Corinthian Yacht club @ montrose. I've been out a few times, but I'm looking for crewing opportunities downtown, as I live/work downtown and it takes too long with traffic for me to get to the boats in Montrose on Wednesday nights. Cubs traffic is brutal.

I'm still pretty green, but I'm very comfortable around the larger offshore boats, and very eager to learn more and gain more experience.

I'm even available today and tomorrow if you need crew for racing, practice, or cruising.

Thanks
Vanessa

Vanessa-

Welcome to Sailnet. I'd highly suggest reading the post in my signature to get the most of the time you spend here. I'd also recommend that you might want to not post your phone number or e-mail address, but let people PM you and let you screen them prior to giving them more personal information. Be aware that you can not respond to PMs until you have 10 posts.

The OP (original poster) of this thread may not be the best boat to crew on, as he seems to have a serious problem keeping crew, and that generally indicates something about the captain or the boat that is less that appealing.
