Hello,

I am interested and have a good bit of sailing experience on smaller boats but I do have one bluewater crossing (Rhode Island to Bermuda). I have been considering buying my own boat, most likely a mono-hull though, and am very motivated to get some more ocean time.

I'm a semi-retired electrical engineer (and manager). I have also been learning learn French (via computer programs and audio cds), so the destination as well as sailing with a french skipper sounds like a great opportunity.

What s your departure window?
