Looking to Crew

Hello all,

Hello, I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I know this is a stretch but I thought I would give it a shot. Up until March I had my own Catalina 28 for a little over 5 years. I was in the process of of upgrading to a Catalina 32 on our lake when the guy I was buying from backed out on me after I sold my boat. After a quick search I decided not to import another boat into Iowa.

Anyway while I think I made the right decision not to bring another boat into our small lake I am missing sailing. We spent every weekend on the boat for the last 5 years. I've been back to our friends a couple times on the small lake but I would like to sail in some bigger waterways.

Anyway I would love to crew on something. The problem is that Chicago being the closest to Cedar Rapids is still 5 hours away which makes day sailing not really feasible.

Is there anyone out there that might be looking for crew for longer trips. As I've mentioned before I've got lots of lake sailing experience and back in 2005 we chartered a 61' sailboat in Greece.
