Going rate for skipper from LA to Portland, OR

Looking at boats and buying soon. Seems likely we'll buy in San Diego, or LA. Wondering what the going rate for a delivery skipper to Portland would be. I can crew, along with my wife; we are novices, but reliable watchstanders. Boat we are considering has a 45hp motor, setup for cruising with autopilot. Beneteau 411

thanks

The going rate for skippers runs anywhere from 200-500+ per day.
Crew 75-150 per day.

You could undoubtedly negotiate a fixed fee for this long a passage.

If needed, I know a fantastic skipper in San Diego who is also a great, (and very busy) instructor. PM me for details if interested.

Expect to pay around 6K plus crew..its about a 15 to 20 day push depending on the weather also and the attitude of the skipper rather he comes in or stays out.

You know this is up hill right? You will motor most of the way. So what ever issues your engine has fix them..

Yeah, I posted it elsewhere as "uphill" and I've done it on an m/v and in the Navy. Looking for a qualified sailboat skipper, as my wife and I are novices in keelboats. Thanks for the input.
