So you think sailboats are expensive? Try trading her in, and find out what expensive really means!

Glad you saw the humor in it --- some of the lawyer/sailors who hang around here wouldn't! Of course if he has a slip with power outlet and a small electric heater, you could stay on the boat and both live dangerously!

Hi MW,

Just ran across this thread. I live on Lanier, just off of Rt 369 in Forsyth cty. I have lots of boating experience, but learned to sail three yrs ago on Lanier. Took my second ASA course in Clearwater and loved the offshore sailing.

Give me a shout and say hi,

turf

You still looking for a crew to sail with on Lake Lanier? I know someone who used to sail in Washington state and is looking to sail again. I can give her your contact information if interested. Barefoot Sailing is another choice. They have people who don't own boats and are looking to crew.

I don't know if mwrhode is still checking in on this thread. I do know that he is still sailing on Lanier and interested in people to sail with him. If he doesn't pop up here, you may want to head over to anything-sailing and contact him there
