ok, Jess is flying down with the last of the parts needed for the engine rebuild on weds and will get the boat ready to bring her up after xmass, Jess and a pro Captain friend will be bringing shimmer up to San Diego and she is looking for one or two more people that want to make the baja bash... if anybody is interested PM me and I will send you the details. The boat is a 41 Morgan in good shape.

I would like her to take the clipper route, but she has no offshore expierence and is skittish about it. Our Mexican mech will be done with his xmass holiday in a day or two then the motor goes in, the she has to put 100 hours on it, check the torque and change oil and bobs your uncle....

They call it the Baja Bash for a reason. You will be doing a lot of motoring, and bashing. It's the tough way to go. I have been there, and done that. If ever I get the chance to sail home to S.F. I would never do it again......P.M. if you want......i2f
