Position wanted: Transatlantic

Currently bicycling around the world for charity, seeking Transatlantic June-July-August. 21 years old, strong, agreeable, hardworking; quick to learn, eager to assist. Eagle Scout, Venture Scout, and professional barista (I make a wicked cup!). Some experience sailing around the Puget Sound, where I grew up, but seek to learn more en-route. See my website! The Orphan Ride | Home . Also, love to cook! CPR certified + other first aid experience.

Just curious, does the boat need to have room for your bicycles?? Also, what other qualifications do you have as crew—CPR, first aid, navigation, etc. Finally, are you willing to pay for your expenses as crew—food, drinks, etc??

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Qualifications

We both have backgrounds in first aid--I recently had another CPR qualification (and I've been through Boy Scouts--made Eagle a few years ago). Ideally the boat would have room for our bicycles, but it's possible to ship them, too, of course. We are willing to pay for our expenses.
