If you think it's unreasonable, then don't volunteer.

Dwayne,

Did you do a repower on your boat from a Volvo MD-17? I think we may have corresponded a couple years ago when I was looking for some parts.

Yup, that was me and I love my Beta but that's off the subject of this thread.

Well, I actually had some interest in contacting your buddy about the trip, but that's when we take our annual trip up north on our boat. Hope you guys find crew. Best wishes.

I think a few details would have been better up front, like the great boat, skipper, friends ref's etc. The Dog bites, so be nice! If you are new he's bound to sniff your butt, till he gets used to it, don't take it personally. Anyways, Isn't there a crew wanted / needed reference resource online somewhere?

For some reason I'm having difficulty seeing how anyone couldn't take it personally. Sniff, sniff.........

If it is an invitation to join them for a cruise, then that's great.... but it probably should have been made clear in the OP that this was looking for people to join them on a cruise, rather than crew for doing a delivery. The way it is worded, it certainly sounded more like they were looking for delivery crew. That's why I was asking for clarification.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
