Looking to gain experience sailing

Aloha! I''m a 24 year old travel enthusiast looking to gain more experience sailing, preferably open ocean sailing. I have experience racing FJ''s in Hawaii. I am a fast and eager learner. Is anyone interested in a work trade? Any advice or ideas on how to gain experience would be helpful. Mahalo!
