Gulf Islands, San Juans, warm summers, cold waters... Georgia Strait, Jervis, Desolation, warm summers, warm waters... Barkley Sound, West Coast, Central coast, Charlottes, Alaska.. unfortunately you can usually count on fog, cloud, drizzle and cool, even in July/August. Beautiful, dramatic cruising grounds to be sure, but you do risk giving up some summer (trade off for the remoteness and isolation, uncrowded bays, etc) by going further out and north.
Still all in all one of the premier cruising grounds worldwide.
