If you would like to get your first experience in off shore cruising, you are welcome to join us on our crossing
from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean before Christmas this year! On the way you are welcome to learn and participate in the sailing – or just relax and enjoy the trip.
When & where: Planning to
leave harbor at the Canary Islands November 20. Will reach land by December 20 the latest, preferably St. Lucia. So please reserve four weeks for your journey (+ we strongly recommend you to spend a few weeks exploring the Caribbean islands when you are there).
Who are we? A fully trained Norwegian/English crew of three, with world wide navigation certificate and experience in ocean crossing. Our vessel is a 50 foot Benneteau with four double cabins, each with a bathroom/toilet, equipped with all safety equipment and instruments for long journeys. Also satellite phone for necessary communication.
Who are you? A possible globe trotter with interest for the sea. No sailing or navigational skills required. Couples or close friends are preferred, age 30+. We hope this will create a good social climate for the journey
Crew join in on a shared-cost basis. Crew bring their personal gear and cost their one-way ticket. We prepare the boat, get all the supplies and prepare 3 daily meals, as long as weather conditions allows. You will receive full training during the voyage.
