Crew - Offshore Voyage

Hi there,

I am a 26 year old british male, looking for people who would be interested in crewing. I am buying a boat this summer (as soon as my flat sells) and heading off on a three year circumnavigation. As yet there are no certainties, as a lot depends upon where the boat I buy is! However it is likely it will be in the Med, so I will be looking for crew to cross the Atlantic in late Oct early Nov this year. I am also likely to be looking for crew through the Panama canal and across the pacific starting March/April/May. At present the long term crew consists of myself and a University friend - also 26yr old british male. The boat will be between 45-55ft, and well equipped (epirbs, two liferafts, ssb, watermaker, windsteering, gen-set, scuba gear including compressor etc). I will graduate from uni this summer, and will be looking for some kind of sailing adventure after that. I''m 22, male, from Sweden and have sailed since I was wearing napkins.

I am a 23yr old Australian female with no experience in offshore voyages...but alot of interest! I will be graduating from uni July this year and I''m interested in joining your crew. I''ve enjoyed the minimal expereince I''ve had in sailing and I''m more than ready and able to take on such a challenge.

I am currently logging days at sea to qualify for my 6-pack and will need more days after my season in the great lakes is over. I would very much like to do a Pacific or Atlantic crossing to gain the experience of offshore sailing and to become a more proficient and skilled sailor. I am competent, enthusiastic, hardworking and knowledgeable about sailing and all around boats. I''d be interested crossing the panama canal with your group. I''ve been sailing for 7 years now and have my captains license. I want to cross the canal before the wife and I take off on our own.
