Lookin' for a boat -- So Cal

I left my life as a sailor decades ago for a life in computers. It's time for me to come back. I've spent over 40 years sailing, maintaining, and restoring boats.

Anybody out there need a slightly used schooner captain?

what kinda boat ye seeking?? i have a spare sloop in sin diayego....under the coronado bridge ....

A nice old schooner in the LB/LA area would be perfect, but I could be tempted by a good sloop in SD.

What kind of boat? Do you do much sailing. I need some sea time to get my ticket back.

What exactly are you looking for in a skipper/crew?

i have a 35ft ericson mII and i have my formosa 41 on which i reside and am trying to get going for traversing canal --at least going souf as soon as possible--i am currently sailing other peoples boats in gulf of mexico --i got sail fever and had to go --lol...dont we all!!...i should be back in sin diego by july 5th when some friends marry up the hill near cabrillo lighthouse...they told me if i amnot back by then they have to hunt me down and rope me and drag me back..lol.....planing a purely sail trip to mazatlan in the formosa later this yr.....dont ask why purely sail .... LOL.

looking for in a skipper/crew--if i said, i would get no answers lol......

I spent a lot of time on an Ericson 35 back in the '70s, great boat. I did a fair amout of work on a Formosa 50 a while back also.

When are you expecting to need a hand? This is not my ideal situation, but I could be convinced.

should be home for a weddding july 5th--how much before i am not certain and yes i need a few hands--as long as they enjoy working hard and finishing jobs and then sailing!!! will go to mazatlan when done enough to sail her..will be an adventure!!!
