Crew Wanted, Long Island Sound (Stamford Area)

looking for some additional people around the Stamford area who would be interested in going out on my boat this season. Not offering anything except for the occasional cold beverage and time on the water. Have yet to race the boat, but the idea has crossed my mind.

Boat is in good shape, reasonably well outfited, While they aren't the newest sails, I do have head sails for all weather conditions (4 head sails + symetrical spinnaker).

I'm up for going out nearly any time of any day.

While I am not that far away I might be interested in a few more details such as (I am assuming) hank on jibs, Hunter 27' from 1990 and perhaps a bit about your sailing experience.
If you are thinking about racing you will probably enjoy it. Join or go to the local club that does either Weds. night or weekend racing to find pick up crew. You will be on your way.

Edit: I looked at your blog in your signature. I guess you are an engineer and the boat will be well primed for a season of sailing and racing when you are done.

Caleb, Correct on the jibs, they are hank on (minor PITA at times, but far more flexability in sail selection). Also correct, 1990 Hunter 27.

The boat is ready for crusing now with just a few projects getting finished up, the only one that impacts the use or function is that I haven't got the hardware for the spinnaker pole installed yet, or threaded the spinnaker halyard through the mast yet... I'm hoping the weather will hold out and I can have that complete this week.
