Short Notice - Fort Bragg, CA to Bellingham, WA

Looking for crew members to sign on to bring my Irwin 45 from Fort Bragg to Bellingham in the last 2 weeks of June. The vessel is a 1973 model which is being brought back to seaworthiness for the trip. Thus far, the crew consists of her newbie owner (myself) who hasn't sailed for quite a few years, an experienced captain as well as a first mate who has decades of sailing experience as well as teaching all the US Power Squadron courses. We're looking for 1 or 2 more experienced crew (preferably with an ability to cook) to join us in what should be an exiting couple of weeks

Bob here, I did the same route two summers ago and will be going south from Bellingham to Monterey in early July. I was stuck in Ft Bragg for 5 days waiting for a good weather window and know getting around Cape Mendocino can be a real kick in the pants! Anyway, I may be interested offering a hand.

Hi Bob, Thanks for the response ... it looks like the Cap'n has put together a crew of individuals he has sailed with already and so doesn't look like we'll need any more hands for now. Sorry about that and thanks for the offer. If it doesn't pan out, I'll let you know. Cheers!
