Want to daysail Kentucky Lake on your boat

Well, my dreams to buy a boat have been postponed for a year. I am attending sailing school in April, and am interesting in sailing Kentucky Lake. Crewing to learn and having fun at the same time. Anyone out there looking for a sailing partner?
I am 41, married with three kids, and just don''t know if I can wait another year to sail on a regular basis. I will share expenses and leave the kids at home.

If only I were twenty years younger...and better looking...and richer...and had a stronger heart...and could remember where I left my glasses.....

Want to daysail Kentucky Lake on your boat

Hi Sailor Girl,

I don''t have a boat right now, nor have I ever been on Kentucky Lake. But I do know that Kentucky Lake can lead out to the sea. And as I gradually put behind my lubberly years in Minnesota and get back to sailing, I''d be curious to see if you too get closer to your dreams.

Right now, I''m setting up my son for college, scouting out boats and sailing partnerships, and preparing for blue-water cruising. Small moves . . . buoyed by the greatest mover on earth.

What kind of boat are you looking for? And where do you want to sail her, ultimately?
