Looking for a female crew

Hi, I'm Scott, retired engineer, I have been traveling for many years on my 50' trawler, Mona Mona .
At this moment I'm laying in Panama, cruising up to San Francisco, and looking for a female crew, over 40 years old, financially independent, wanting to travel, enjoying the life on the sea.
You can either email me at monamonaatsea@yahoo.com
or call on my cellphone in Panama + 507 6688 1500

High Scott.
Good luck on your search.
We have seen this kind of request several times on this board and the rule-of-thumb is that the more you share the better the chance a suitable person will answer.
A lot of basic questions come to mind.
Smoker
Drinker
Sailing qualifications
Crew duties expected: cooking, cleaning

Your ad specifically mentioning financially independance implies there will be expenses levied. What do you have in mind?

In short if your ad focused on what you had to offer and how safe it was for the crew you may get better results.

Sounds like a nice boat by the way.
How did you come to own her?

You do realize that this is a SAILING FORUM and that most of the people on here would be interested in crewing on a sailboat rather than a trawler...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I doubt it... if he's not smart enough to realize this is aSAILING SITE...not a trawler one... he's probably unlikely to do well anywhere...

Never hurts to ask. What's the worst that could happen?

Oh yeah, dog.

Gentlemen, I agree. .

However, if I am a female and financial well off, I would look for a 30 something young play stud. But then I am not really into the floating mobile home thing.
