available crew member

Hallo there anyone with a boat with some empty space on it. I''m currently a high school senior at Phillips Exeter Academy, soon to be 18, and looking for something to do for the summer. If anyone lives in the Annapolis area, and is looking for a crew member, please contact me through sailnet, or at my email address camel.arabia@planet-save.com. My experience is very limited, with most of my sailing confined to my family''s 17 foot Hobie cat. I have raced a big boat before, but all I needed to do was turn the cranks and keep out of the way. Though I think we won. I am very interested in gaining experience and knowledge about sailing (especially long, open-water trips), and am currently being tutored in celestial navigation. If anyone would like to help me out with this pursuit, please drop me a line! Thanks,

dan

BNB-

Are you aware that you're replying to a post that was a single hit almost four years ago... and that camelonthewater has never returned to Sailnet...based on his lack of other posts. BTW, his last activity was in January of 2006.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
