It was just wishful thinking I guess.
Kinda like Match.com.
Profiles give you a chance to get to know someone a little more,
provided they are honest. And let's face it,
People don't like to show their not so good side.
at least at first.
Like
"I'm a little jealous."
Or
"I'm extremely selfish"
Not saying I am any of these...
Just giving gentle examples.
People in general Lie.
At least that's my experience.
But it would give one the opportunity to be oneself at least a little bit.
like...
"L'Angel de la Mer needs Serious Captain to spoil"
or
" Captain seeking empty headed victoria secret model
to make sandwich's and sun naked on the foredeck."
for a headline then you kinda know what your in for.
Then you add specifics...
Interest's,
goals,
Personality type stuff, etc...
Personally, I would not answer the latter headline,
but the former is something I would say..
You can kinda get to know someone without meeting them first
by chatting online for a while.
I say a few months asking specific questions.
Then, always trust that gut feeling.
Like I said,
Wishful thinking I guess,
