Good luck in your venture... I've moved your post to a more appropriate forum.

Welcome to Sailnet.. I hope the winter gales don't arrive too early this year.

I just saw this post, and can't send a private message, since I just signed up and this is my first message. Thx for your patience.

tcgibb, if you haven't found crew and haven't left yet, I'm interested in crewing for you. I've done the southbound trip twice, once on my own boat and once as a delivery. I've also done the Washington State coast more than a dozen times, both north- and south-bound.

I'm male, 49 years old, been sailing since I was 15, a bit over-tall, and easy to get along with ... except for English Teachers, who don't like it when I end a sentence with a preposition.

I'm interested but in Atlantic Canada. 40 years sailing and offshore ship time. 40 ton ticket and two passages offshore, one from Bermuda and one from Caribbean via Bermuda.
Skippered a 50' Daycharter Cat for 7 years. Love being at sea and keeping her going. Retired at 56 and physically fit. Will work for expenses. Return flights to west coast ~$900. Regards, Jim

Hi Jayfraser

Yeah, a preposition is nothing to end a sentence with.

Left yet?

I know it's late but I thought I'd check. Have ocean experience Bermuda > Rhode Island and off coast of Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Let me know if you're still looking. Sharlene

How was your trip?

Are you ever going back to B.C.? I'd be interested in that provided our dates match.

Regards,

Jean.
