Planning on leaving Boston late October, working slowly down the coast to Florida. Would like to take one semi/experienced crew, you can go with me from start to finish or hop on/off along the way (
TBD). This is not a paid position, and you would be responsible for your own travel expenses to/from boat. I'll cover all boat expenses and basic provisioning, and we'd most likely split restaurants and luxury stuff en route. This trip is about going slow and having fun, it's not a gotta-get-there delivery.
I'm in my early 40s, a prudent and careful skipper, with several years of cruising experience around New England. Easy-going and friendly, I prefer to enjoy my boating time instead of suffering in miserable weather. My boat is an 1986 Ericson 32-3, in good and seaworthy condition, but with no shower at the moment. She is comfortable and I have lived on her most of this summer. You are ideally close to my age, reasonably weather and motion resistant, have some sailing experience (can do overnight helm watch solo), and generally pleasant company.
If interested, please use this same user name for contacting me via yahoo's email service. Please include details about yourself and your sailing experience, and what you hope to get out of this journey ...
Thank You!
