Seeking crew M/F to travel to virgin Islands from east coast of Fl open to departure date. Share of expense of boat (provisioning, fuel if required, dockage if any, misc..., travel as required, lets say 300 +/- to keep out the undesirables. 32 ft Beneteau late model in pretty good condition. prefer to depart 7-10 days. rout shall be direct or meandering. currently lying in canaveral area. No people who abuse drugs and or alcohol. You know who you are. I will put you off in the nearest port should that be an issue. intended arrival date no later than 2nd week in Jan. If you have a friend bring them too.

Just curious, but are you paying/reimbursing for air transport to/from the boat?

You're already asking the UNPAID crew to subsidize your cruising...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

subsidies

I do not consider it anyone subsidizing my cruising. I can get there from here, Ive done it. If any one considers themselves a positivist, and sees this as an opportunity, and is responsible to pull their weight; economically, physically, and emotionally, then please respond.

I've been wanting to go to the U.S.V.I. I have some crewing experience and I am in Melbourne.

Did you find a crew member yet? I may be interested. However, I won't be available until Mid Jan. The 300+-, is that what think the shared expenses would be? Seems low.

Svnailedit,

I am potentially interested. My GF and I are considering purchasing a '86 Benneatau First 30. This could be a good way to eval a similar boat. We are both fit and healthy - not substance abusers in any way but we do enjoy a beer or margarita regularly. We have NO offshore experience but I have been sailing over for 40 years. We are both however fast learners and would relish such an opportunity.

Let's talk?

Steve
