Unfortunately, my idea of cruising cuisine is a stale Pop Tart. Why do my crew always look so aghast when I spoon instant coffee into cold water and drink it? My living standards are somewhat below what most people would consider reasonable, I think a porta-potti is just fine and the smell of diesel is wonderful to me.
So, if she can put up with that on a 28' boat and with a 55 yr old male techie curmudgeon who does not care what she looks like, then MAYBE.
Is she willing to go up the mast? Big plus there. Does she understand a compass? Does she need things explained more than 4 times (if so, NO WAY). Is she the "needy type", if so, NO WAY, I go cruising to get away from that. Is she financially independent? I already raised 3 kids and don't need more to pay for.
28' sailboat sorta wandering southward currently in Marsh Harbor Abaco, maybe heading for Georgetown soon.
