female crew available in key west florida
Hi, My name is Manu, i'm a 29 years old, french woman, traveler. I am
normally a wire jeweler "on the road", but now i'm looking for a
sailboat experience...
What I'm sure about me and that can be useful on a sailboat: good cooker
(healthy food, fusion, french, mexican, peruvian, etc.), optimist,
positive, instinctive, adapt easily, do my best in everything, like make
people felling happy and pleased, clean, polite, active, artist...
Obviously i want to help or work and learn sailing !!
i never feel boring thanks to my favorite hobby : wire jewelry, just
need wire and pliers...
I am actually living in Key West Florida until finding a sailboat. Last
year i traveled 7 south america countries with a van. this year i would
like to get Mexico. but it can be anywhere else cuz i'm a traveler !!

It would help if you said what skills you bring as a crew member. For instance:
Do you have any certifications like CPR, advanced first aid, etc.
Are you skilled in fiberglass repair, electrical, plumbing or diesel troubleshooting?
Do you know how to cook in a marine galley? BTW, being able to cook and being able to cook in a marine galley, often with fairly limited equipment and supplies, are two totally different things.
Do you know how to stand a night watch?
Do you know how to sail?

With all due respect, you're not thinking of putting this poor girl to work, fiberglassing your electrical plumbing to your diesel?... and THEN making her cook while standing night watch? 
Dude, she just wants to sail on a boat starting in Key West, and ending up ... somewhere.
You and I are freezing our cajones up here in New England... She does NOT want to sail with us.  (maybe Smack, or CD, but not us  )

Nah, but a person having those skills is definitely more valuable as crew goes...considering that one definition of cruising is "repairing your boat in foreign ports."

Hi guys !! indeed and obviously i don't have any skills in relation with sailing, fiberglass repair, electrical, plumbing, diesel troubleshooting !!
I did a short resume of what i could bring to the crew because some people is interested in sharing a sail with a pleasant helpmate and not especially somebody with sailing skills.
and some people could feel teaching sailing!
thanks to all of them to considering my message  I dident expect so much !

About "night watch", i'm not a big sleeper so i can help;
About cooking in reduce space, not a problem for me, i traveled 7 months from Panama to Buenos Aires in a van with a very small kitchen, and i've been traveling in a van 2 years in Europe too.

If you want to do some sailing up in New York, let me know. That's a general invite for all members of the sailnet forum, as everyone knows. Short day sails.
Thinking about sailing to the Statue of Liberty and back. The Statue was made in France, it's a French boat. My wife speaks some French. Just saying...
