Couple looking to crew longterm in late May
Hello, my wife and I are looking to crew for sea miles and experience.
We owned a 30' sloop and sailed her for a few years on lake Michigan until we had to get rid of her last year. During that time we installed a GPS replaced all the running rigging with associated tackle. We've taken US sailing's basic keel boat, USPS marine electronics and seamanship classes. We have also bare boat chartered a couple of times in the windward islands. Both of us are also PADI advanced divers. My wife is quite handy in the galley, especially if you have an oven. We are in good shape (I'm 5' 11/185lbs, she is 5' 4/115lbs). I was also a 2nd class quartermaster in the navy, so I'm pretty handy with the navigation.
We are very easy going, fun loving and in our late forty's.
My current contract won't be complete until the 3rd week of May. So if you think the timing may work for you and are interested in learning more, we would like to hear from you.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
