you know the Amel is a french boat.
it only cooked french food.
so we have to cook.
i did decide to cook all the food before we go. since we have 2 freezers and a refrig - i don''t know why i didn''t think of this before.
how is the sailing going.

I was reading through the thread of messages responding to your posting; sounds like you don''t "need" a "cook" anymore?
That would be great. Although I''m not a not what you may call a "cook" I can work in a kitchen, and know how to make things work. Just returned from 4 and a half months in Alaska living on a homestead for 3 months with 6 people and then commercial fishing in bristol bay for a month. Now back in Finger Lakes region of New York on Seneca Lake crewing on the Malabar X (10), a 60 foot, 30 ton schooner doing day charters. Love the job, mostly just love sailing and I really want to get more experience, particularly on the open ocean. Getting a ride to St. Thomas would be a pretty sweet cap on the whole thing.
I''m 24, don''t smoke, a fast learner, hard working, and get along with people quite well.

Eric: Tyler shipped off to Maine to work his way toward college (hopefully). Island life is just too good for a 20 year old. I figgered he needed a hard cold winter to snap him to. One kid in Calif., one in Ariz. and one in Maine. An'' we all ''lone in de islands. Hee hee. KW
